Eterei semi disposti a spirale fluttuano nella navata principale della chiesa della Santissima Trinità di S. Sebastiano Curone. Sono i “Respiri di luce” creati da Monica Paulon che irrompono nello spazio sacro forieri di vita e di pace, come sospinti da una folata di vento.
Le sàmare tessili sono state concepite come preziosi scrigni di un messaggio alto e nobile: la pace. Infatti, i semi, realizzati secondo una speciale tecnica di felting che fonde fili serici color oro recuperati dalle tessiture, lana e biomateriali, custodiscono nelle loro soffici trame proprio la parola “pace”. E' grazie alla libera fluttuazione dei semi sospesi nell'opera che la vibrazione di una parola tanto semplice nella sua essenza, quanto complessa nella sua manifestazione, può fluire e crescere nel mondo: i visitatori hanno, infatti, la possibilità di fondere la loro personale istanza di concordia con quella dell'artista, affinché, insieme, possano moltiplicarne la potenza nello spazio e nel tempo. I semi tessili sono disposti secondo una spirale aurea che, unita allo spirito del luogo, accompagna il visitatore attraverso i sensi, alla ricerca dell’armonia interiore ed esteriore, orizzontale e verticale. Oggi, in un momento in cui dominano ritmi innaturali, guerre disumane e deturpamento ambientale, la spirale aurea, con la sua capacità di mantenere la forma nell'espansione e, di conseguenza, nel cambiamento, è un luminoso simbolo di equilibrio e di aderenza all’autenticità nella crescita. L'installazione, che vive nell'evanescenza dell'incontro con il visitatore per poi destrutturarsi e svanire, è completamente biodegradabile, nel rispetto della sostenibilità e della consapevolezza che anima il gesto artistico.
Muoversi nella spirale di “Respiri di Luce” significa, pertanto, partecipare a un processo sacro che parte dall'installazione per propagare nel mondo, proprio come dispone Madre Natura, i suoi semi luminosi. Per desiderare, sentire, vivere e testimoniare la pace
Ethereal seeds arranged in a spiral float in the main nave of the church of the Holy Trinity of S. Sebastiano Curone. They are the “Breaths of light” created by Monica Paulon that burst into the sacred space, harbingers of life and peace, as if pushed by a gust of wind. The textile sàmaras were conceived as precious caskets of a high and noble message: peace. In fact, the seeds, made according to a special felting technique that fuses gold-colored silk threads recovered from weaving, wool and biomaterials, hold in their soft weaves the very word “peace”. It is thanks to the free floating of the seeds suspended in the work that the vibration of a word as simple in its essence as it is complex in its manifestation, can flow and grow in the world: visitors have, in fact, the opportunity to merge their personal instance of harmony with that of the artist, so that, together, they can multiply its power in space and time. The textile seeds are arranged in a golden spiral that, combined with the spirit of the place, accompanies the visitor through the senses, in search of inner and outer, horizontal and vertical harmony. Today, in a time when unnatural rhythms, inhuman wars and environmental disfigurement dominate, the golden spiral, with its ability to maintain its shape in expansion and, consequently, in change, is a luminous symbol of balance and adherence to authenticity in growth. The installation, which lives in the evanescence of the encounter with the visitor and then deconstructs and disappears, is completely biodegradable, respecting the sustainability and awareness that animates the artistic gesture. Moving in the spiral of “Breaths of Light” therefore means participating in a sacred process that starts from the installation to propagate its luminous seeds in the world, just as Mother Nature dictates.
