VIBRAZIONI : respirando la vita
La mostra dell’artista comasca di Fiber- Art Monica Paulon allestita negli spazi del MUPAC nell’Aranciaia di Colorno dal 12 settembre al 07 novembre è una incursione nell’arte contemporanea che apre nuove prospettive di riflessione sospese tra realtà e visione. La sua installazione, realizzata con fili di sete di scarto delle manufatture di Como, lana e acqua, si situa con soavità in una linea di confine tra materialità e immaterialità. L’ opera di Monica Paulon , quale opera d’arte totale, è diretta parente dell’ arte povera per i materiali naturali che utilizza e perché agisce nel binomio arte e vita. La sua ricerca artistica si situa in una direzione affine per sensibilità e temi a quella della grande artista tessile Maria Lai.
Monica presenta sotto forma di silhouette tessili, umane ed arboree, una galleria di figure del mondo dell’arte che in vita hanno realizzato la loro natura ed essenza: personalità artistiche di grande calibro quali ad esempio: J. Beyus, Christo e Jeanne Claude, Franco Maria Ricci, E. Bosso, G.Celant, L. Sepulveda ecc., tante presenze, tutte scomparse in questi ultimi tempi. Non si tratta di un monumento ai morti bensì di un allestimento antimonumentale ai ‘vivi’ in quanto esistenze che hanno lasciato sulla terra una scia di vibrazioni positive che Monica con grande intuizione e sensibilità intercetta. L’artista non narra il loro mito, ma ne enuncia con forza d’ intuito la loro forma e anima che impasta con la leggerezza dell’ apparizione. nel tempo della memoria. Non sono personaggi che fanno ritorno ad una esistenza terrena, ciò che ritorna di loro come ombra e sagoma è una struttura, una natura, un insieme di qualità, impulsi e sensazioni: si tratta di esistenze tradotte in essenze. L’ artista con questa opera si fa tramite con l’invisibile e ci introduce con leggerezza in una comunanza di persone speciali per farci vivere una vicinanza positiva tra sogno e speranza.
I teli di Monica i cui bordi indefiniti si fondono con lo spazio dell’Aranciaia sono presenze aeree e flottanti che si manifestano come apparizioni tra verità e mistero. Il pubblico si troverà a vivere una esperienza sublime di energie positive e osmosi di felicità tra anime elette respirando, attraverso di esse, un cosmico amore per la vita e la bellezza.

VIBRATIONS: Breathing Life
The exhibition by the Como-based Fiber-Art artist Monica Paulon, held in the spaces of MUPAC in the Aranciaia di Colorno from September 12 to November 7, is an incursion into contemporary art that opens new perspectives of reflection suspended between reality and vision. Her installation, crafted with discarded silk threads from Como's manufacturing, wool, and water, delicately positions itself on the border between materiality and immateriality.
Monica Paulon's work, as a total work of art, is a direct relative of Arte Povera for the natural materials she employs and its interaction between art and life. Her artistic exploration aligns, in terms of sensitivity and themes, with that of the great textile artist Maria Lai.
Presented in the form of textile silhouettes, human and arboreal, Monica showcases a gallery of figures from the art world who, in their lifetime, embodied their nature and essence: significant artistic personalities such as J. Beyus, Christo and Jeanne Claude, Franco Maria Ricci, E. Bosso, G. Celant, L. Sepulveda, etc., many of whom have recently passed away. This is not a monument to the dead but an anti-monumental installation for the 'living,' as existences that have left a trail of positive vibrations on Earth, intercepted by Monica with great intuition and sensitivity.
The artist doesn't narrate their myth but boldly articulates their form and soul, blending them with the lightness of apparition in the time of memory. These are not characters returning to earthly existence; what returns as their shadow and silhouette is a structure, a nature, a combination of qualities, impulses, and sensations: existences translated into essences. With this work, the artist becomes a conduit for the invisible, gently introducing us to a community of special individuals to let us experience positive closeness between dream and hope.
Monica's textiles, whose undefined edges merge with the space of the Aranciaia, are airy and floating presences that manifest as apparitions between truth and mystery. The audience will undergo a sublime experience of positive energies and happiness osmosis among chosen souls, breathing, through them, a cosmic love for life and beauty.
